Eligibility:

A pass in the examination of 10+2 system of Senior Secondary education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2009 for being considered on provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted to the allotted Institute at the time of admission.

Having established its name as one of India’s top institutes in hotel management in a short span of six years, Delhi-based LBIIHM is now gearing up to add more feathers in its cap. Some of its immediate plans are to build a big campus in the NCR region, besides setting up the nation’s first hospitality university by 2012.

The institute has also started offering MSc in hotel management in association with the Punjab Technical University, which allows any graduate to join and make a career in the hospitality industry.

The Council centrally regulates academics for hospitality and hotel administration and other eleven structured courses of studies that are imparted at the existing 21Central Institutes of Management'>Hotel Management, 7 State Govt. Institutes of Management'>Hotel Management, 7 Private Institutes of Management'>Hotel Management affiliated with NCHMCT and 6 Food Craft Institutes located in different parts of the country. All Institutes uniformly follow standardized course curricula prescribed by the Council for the different professional programmes.

Date of Examination: 9.05.2009 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Eligibility:
Minimum qualification for admission is a pass in the examination of 10+2 system of Senior Secondary education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subject. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE 2009 for being considered on provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted to the allotted Institute at the time of admission. Admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/ documents to be produced by the candidates at the time of admission in Institute. Even after admission to an Institute, if an applicant is at a later date found ineligible on account of having submitted false information or testimonials or for having suppressed any material information, his/her admission will be cancelled and the fee paid will also be forfeited. Decision of National Council regarding the eligibility shall be final.

For candidates from General, OBC and Physically Handicapped categories upper age limit is 22 years as on 1.7. 2009, only those whose date of birth falls on or after July 01, 1987 are eligible. In the case of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates upper age limit is 25 years as on 1.7.2009, only those SC / ST candidates whose date of birth falls on or after July 01, 1984 will be eligible. At the time of counseling, this certificate must be produced in original as a proof of age, failing which the candidate will not be considered for provisional admission.
